Yonex EZONE Xi 100 Racquet

Yonex EZONE Xi 100

The EZONE Xi 100 racquet is very somewhat similar to the Yonex EZONE Xi 98 racquet that Ana Ivanovic is using on the WTA Tour. Small changes have been made to better allow intermediate through advance players to get the most out of what this racquet has to offer. However the sacrifices have been kept to a minimum and this racquet is good enough to be used by Maria Kirilenko. The weight has been reduced by half an ounce to 11.0 ounces, which enhances the maneuverability. The most significant change is the ability to produce an abundance of top spin, which has been made possible by increasing the racquet size to 100 square inches while at the same time employing a very open string pattern at 16x18 compared to the EZONE Xi 98 at 16x20.

The 16x18 string pattern also allows for some extra kick on the serve. A wide kick serve to the backhand with the EZONE Xi 100 is more than most recreational players can handle.

Vibrations are better absorbed through a grid inside the grip caused by 2 tubes from within the grip, and this SD GRID technology helps to increase power. An integrated I.P.S. (Integrated Power Weight System) has weight placed on central locations on the frame, but is not visible to the naked eye. You do feel the extra stability and power from this I.P.S. Technology. The Xi Technology (Extra Isometric) expands the sweetspot and gives the racquet a unique look.
